The primary school years are some of the most formative in a student’s academic and social development. However, there are some significant transitions that students must make, and be prepared for, during these years. One such transition occurs when students move from grade 3 to grade 4. In grade 3, students master basic concepts and skills, while in grade 4, students are required to think critically, problem-solve, and work independently. At BASIS Charter Schools, our primary school program focuses on building solid academic foundations while teaching and reinforcing fundamental skills, such as critical thinking, organization, and time management. By the time students finish grade 3, they have fully mastered the concepts and skills needed to make a seamless transition into grade 4.
The BASIS Charter Schools network is committed to providing students with unparalleled excellence in education via our high-achieving academic program and our bright, passionate Subject Expert Teachers. We are excited to announce that our newest campus, BASIS San Antonio Northeast, will be opening in the fall of 2020. BASIS Charter Schools have been operating in San Antonio since 2013—this is our fourth campus in San Antonio. BASIS San Antonio Northeast is located at 11550 I-35 Frontage Rd., San Antonio, TX 78233.
